Supports or operates powered craft rescues safely.
Casualty Management and First Aid
Provides first aid, oxygen and CPR to casualties.
Defibrillator and Advanced Resuscitation Skills
Uses AEDs and resuscitation equipment correctly.
Communication by Radio and Signals
Communicates clearly with patrol members and emergency services.
Patrol Teamwork and Leadership
Works with the patrol captain and crew and takes initiative appropriately.
Physical Fitness and Water Confidence
Maintains the fitness needed for repeated rescues.

How are lifeguards scored in Beach Lifeguarding?
Every lifeguard is scored from 1 to 10 on each skill (1 = Poor, 5 = Average, 10 = Elite), one patrol and year at a time. Scores autosave in the Skills Matrix, and the 18 built-in reports turn them into rankings, radar charts, skill gaps and year-on-year trends.
Which levels come with Beach Lifeguarding?
Beach Lifeguarding starts with these levels (called “Award Level” in the app): Trainee, Bronze Medallion, Lifeguard, Senior Lifeguard, Patrol Captain and Supervisor. They are just a starting point, so you can rename, reorder or replace them.
Can I change the Beach Lifeguarding skills and wording?
