The 12 Handball skills you can score
These are the default Handball skills in SkillScorer. Each one is scored from 1 to 10 for every player, and you can edit, remove or add skills at any time.
Ball Handling
Controls, dribbles and holds the ball securely with one hand under contact.
Passing Accuracy
Delivers fast, precise passes to backs, wings and the pivot.
Jump Shooting
Shoots with power and accuracy from the air over defenders.
Wing Finishing
Finishes from tight angles with placement and creativity.
Pivot Play
Establishes position on the six-metre line and finishes or sets screens for teammates.
Defensive Formation
Holds 6-0, 5-1 or 3-2-1 structures and communicates switches.
One-on-One Defence
Uses footwork and body contact within the rules to contain attackers.
Goalkeeping
Reads shooters, makes saves and starts fast breaks with outlet passes.
Fast Break Execution
Runs the counter attack with speed and numbers.
Rules and Discipline
Avoids steps, double dribbles and unnecessary suspensions.
Endurance and Power
Maintains repeated sprints, jumps and contact throughout the match.
Team Tactics
Understands attacking systems, set plays and roles.

What skills does the Handball scorecard include?

How are players scored in Handball?
Every player is scored from 1 to 10 on each skill (1 = Poor, 5 = Average, 10 = Elite), one team and year at a time. Scores autosave in the Skills Matrix, and the 18 built-in reports turn them into rankings, radar charts, skill gaps and year-on-year trends.

Yes. The skills, levels and labels are all editable per organisation. In sports the app talks about players, teams and coachs, and you can change any of those words too.
