How Plumber works in SkillScorer
Score
Each tradesperson in a crew is scored on the Plumber skills in the Skills Matrix: tap a cell, type a score, and it saves itself.
Compare
Rank tradespeople, compare two side by side, or compare your crews against each other to see exactly where the strengths and gaps are.
Track
Scores are kept year after year, so you can see who is improving and which Plumber skills need attention. Reports also follow each supervisor's crew.
Plumber scorecard: common questions
What skills does the Plumber scorecard include?
SkillScorer's Plumber scorecard covers 13 skills: Pipe Installation, Fault Diagnosis, Safety Compliance, Reading Drawings, Hot Water Systems, Tool Proficiency, Work Quality, Gasfitting Fundamentals, Drainage Installation, Backflow and Water Quality Compliance, Material Estimation, Customer Communication and Job Planning and Time Management. Each one comes with a written description of what it measures, and you can edit, rename, remove or add skills to suit your organisation.
How are tradespeople scored in Plumber?
Every tradesperson is scored from 1 to 10 on each skill (1 = Poor, 5 = Average, 10 = Elite), one crew and year at a time. Scores autosave in the Skills Matrix, and the 18 built-in reports turn them into rankings, radar charts, skill gaps and year-on-year trends.
Which levels come with Plumber?
Plumber starts with these levels (called “Level” in the app): Apprentice Year 1, Apprentice Year 2, Apprentice Year 3, Apprentice Year 4, Tradesperson, Advanced Tradesperson, Supervisor and Master Plumber. They are just a starting point, so you can rename, reorder or replace them.
Can I change the Plumber skills and wording?
Yes. The skills, levels and labels are all editable per organisation. In trades the app talks about tradespeople, crews and supervisors, and you can change any of those words too.
